Not sure what the wood was thinking when it popped this little baby out. It is definitely much deeper than our typical notions bowls, but much narrower than our yarn bowls. Perhaps it could be for a smaller skein, as then it would not need the notch cut into it. Made from pure African Mahogany finished with orange oil and beeswax, this cup-styled bowl is just gorgeous.
