This bowl is a behemoth. Not for the faint of heart, this heavy bowl is made 100% of Purple Heart wood. Coming primarily from South America, this beautiful wood really is even more purple in color than the images show here.
The walls are thick, just shy of a full inch. The entire diameter is 7-1/4", with a very tall 4-7/8" overall height. The interior depth is 3-3/4". In other words, this bowl will hold all but the largest of yarn cakes.
